A man in his fifties returns home accompanied by his dog. Arriving home, he begins to tidy up the belongings of his wife who he has just lost. When he opens his wife's Sunday bag, he discovers a photo of a stranger.
A well-known writer lives with the obsession of a past drama and, unable to write, wanders from bar to bar at night. One night he meets Marie, whose laughter suddenly resonates for him like an echo.
