Russia, 1959. A KGB major investigates the mysterious deaths of a group of nine student hikers in the Ural Mountains. Troubled by his past as a WWII veteran, he has a sixth sense and death seems to follow him around as he digs deeper into the mysterious incident. The more he learns, the more it becomes clear: the reason the students died will never see the light of day.
Lyokha, a former police sniper with post-traumatic stress disorder, in the midst of an alcoholic binge learns about the fatal illness of his sister Katya. Katya does not want her daughter to be sent to an orphanage after death, and asks Lyokha to take up her head so that he becomes a guardian for an eight-year-old girl. Lyokha has already lost many close people in his life, so he does everything to help his sister: he picks up old connections and gets a job at the police station. The area turns out to be difficult. The criminals that Lyokha must catch are fairy-tale characters: the Serpent Gorynych, Baba Yaga and other evil spirits. And if the former sniper does not have problems with the capture of villains, then attempts to become a good guardian become a real test for Lyokha.
After the fight with Dagestanis, the novice rapper Bonus, along with his friend, drug addict and drug dealer Gashik, must disappear for several weeks from the home village of Volodarovka, which is located in the Astrakhan region. They decide to go to Moscow, where Gashik will try to become the driver of the businessman’s son, and Bonus - to become a rap artist.
Moscow. High rise. Here, on the 12th floor, is the office of the call center "Online Store for Adults". One morning, twelve people who are in the office suddenly find out that there is a bomb in the room. The voices of the unknowns who introduced themselves as Dad and Mom threaten to blow it up at any time if the hostages do not follow their instructions. While the countdown is going on, they will have to experience the absolute power of invisible sadists and learn something about each other’s life that they did not even suspect.
The story centers on former boxing champion Evgeny Polkanov. After his Olympic defeat, his life went downhill: his athletic career ended, his wife left him, taking their son, and all that remains is a routine job as a bodyguard for the narcissistic businessman Titorenko. But Zhenya loses even this—he's left on the street with a black mark after accidentally breaking his boss's nose. Against the backdrop of all these events, the effects of an old head injury worsen, and he begins to see the Wolf from the cartoon "Once Upon a Time There Lived a Dog." Sarcastic and brash, he becomes the embodiment of an inner voice and the former athlete's constant companion. It is he who pushes Zhenya to pull off a scam just like in the cartoon. The plan seems flawless: kidnap Titorenko's daughter and then heroically "rescue" her in order to get his job back and restore his relationship with his family.
This is a story about three best friends: Shura, Yulya and Anya. They are 18 years old, all the most important things in life are happening for the first time, and they approach everything with youthful zeal and maximalism. Shura Ermakova falls in love with a teacher and on the same day she learns that her mother returned to her family, who left her as a child. Yulia Kuzmina can never break off relationships with her boyfriend, a policeman who constantly cheats on her, and Anya Silkina, using the connections of her dad-producer, comes up with a new career once a week.
