Biography
Emilie Aussel was born in Montpellier. She studied art at the Beaux-Arts de Montpellier, the Villa Arson in Nice and the Fresnoy. Since 2009, she has directed several short films: “L'ignorance invincible”, “Do you believe in rapture?”, “Petite blonde”, and “Ta bouche mon paradis”. Her first feature film, “Our Eternal Summer”, was released in 2022.

On a hot summer afternoon, a group of youngsters from Marseille’s working-class estates are hanging out at their spot by the sea. They saunter, catcall, swim and jump off the high rocks. A blonde girl observes them from the beach and decides to break cultural conventions.
