Four adolescent girls each spend their youth in the same farmhouse over the last century. Though separated by decades, resonances between their lives emerge: their desires and distress, secrets and truths, encounters with another’s gaze and defiant gaze in return.

Niko, a twenty-something college dropout, lives for the moment as he drifts through the streets of Berlin, curiously observing everyone around him and oblivious to his growing status as an outsider. Then on one fateful day, through a series of absurdly amusing encounters, everything changes.

At night, he makes videos of himself displaying his masculinity, declaring his hatred of women, and announcing his plan to go on a killing spree on the last day of school. But the closer his self-proclaimed "Judgment Day" comes, the harder it is for him to live up to his archetypal ideal of masculinity.
