Biography
Ty Giffin was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba but spent most of his life in New Brunswick. He made his directorial debut with Roles (2017) and his follow-up Sister's Dirge (2018) during his time at the University of New Brunswick. He won the award for Best Director at the Charlottetown Film Festival for his short film Cicerone (2022) and was nominated for the Emerging Filmmaker Golden Sheaf at the Yorkton Film Festival.
