A song of love to the city of Genoa. The film wanders the streets of the city center and explore the beautiful cemetery and then climb the hills which offer an amazing view over the old town crossed by a highway and port.

Alix is Alix Cléo Roubaud, the heroine of Jean Eustache's film LES PHOTOS D'ALIX. The starting point for ALIX is a short Super 8 sequence shot in 1981. From this reduced material, through a structural and subjective montage of repetitions, loops and flashes, I succeeded in counteracting the coldness of the still image by creating an impression of movement and a kind of hypnotic spell, accentuated by Guillaume Esvelin's music.
