Biography

Carolyn Brooks is an American writer and director known for her contributions to the film industry, particularly in visual effects. She has worked on notable films such as The Chronicles of Riddick (2004), Friday Night Lights (2004), and Elektra (2005). Brooks has also been involved in producing documentaries, including one on 1980s megastars Duran Duran. She spent years working for Disney, creating educational films, and served as Vice Dean of Fellow Affairs at the American Film Institute, her graduate school alma mater.
