Michael is a critically acclaimed, award-winning writer-director from Watts. His unconventional filmmaking journey began after earning a UCLA engineering degree and establishing a career in Aerospace. His visionary short films, shot across Serbia, El Salvador, and Belarus, weave a distinctive tapestry of family, fantasy, magic, and miracles. His breakthrough work MI TESORO made history as one of the first Salvadoran-produced fiction pieces to be featured on HBO. ABC further showcased his talent during Hispanic Heritage month, cementing his rising profile. The prestigious Academy of Motion Pictures selected Michael for their exclusive Film Accelerator program, recognizing his exceptional creative voice. Michael's feature film debut LOVE DOLL premiered on Tubi, expanding his acclaimed storytelling to new audiences. Most recently, his artistic evolution has been recognized with a nomination for Best Short at the renowned Raindance Film Festival.
