Kip Polyard is an obsessive-compulsive shut-in whose antiseptic world is invaded by Celine, the beautiful seductress who moves in next door to Kip's rent-controlled Manhattan apartment. Kip and Celine begin a tentative love affair that turns passionate and then deadly, as Celine's secrets turn Kip's perfectly organized life upside-down.

This film presents the implications of having access to such power as we all scramble to inhabit our latest science fictions.
