The film from the project "Living pictures" is based on the canvas of the Estonian artist Raul Rajangu / Raul Rajangu "New Year's Eve" / NÄÄRIÖÖ from the Estonian Art Museum. The authors of the animation project had to come up with what could happen before or after the moment captured by the artist. The characters and backgrounds are created and animated by children 7-10 years old.

The film is experimental in nature: all the stages of its creation from the script to the editing were built on the principle of a mosaic - creating a whole image from small fragments.
