Samuel Urbina is a film director and producer born and based in Piura, Peru. His work is driven by an interest in cinema that moves between fiction and non-fiction, with territory as its point of departure. His films have been screened at festivals such as Málaga, Guadalajara, São Paulo, Cartagena de Indias, and Lima, among others. That Shadow Fading (2025) is his debut feature film.
