Lonely Lithuanian teenager Rokas, whose mother works abroad, is trying to rise above his depressing post-socialist housing block by singing in a choir. His only refuge – his voice – quickly turns into a threat, as local gangs hunt him for being branded a snitch.

On the verge of retirement, Commissioner Gintas must undertake the investigation of a series of heinous murders, a dangerous task that could expose the many dirty secrets of several prominent members of the social elite of a small Lithuanian town.

On the evening of a total eclipse of the moon, seven close friends gather for a dinner party. One of the friends, a relationship therapist says that she is convinced that many couples would separate if they saw the messages on each other's phones. As the friends debate this contention, they agree - some of them reluctantly - to play a game. They will each place their phone on the table and they will share their messages and calls with the rest of the group.

A musician on his way to meet a fellow fiddler, encounters two girls and is taken aback by their talks about afterlife. The musicians walk towards a village observing events, unable to discern phantasy from reality. Later, both men attend a funeral, where archaic rituals intertwine with the practice of marrying a dead girl to an ‘afterlife groom’.

Marius, a successful but unhappy husband, and his brother Jovitas, a feckless failure scorned by his wife Nomeda, who just so happens to be Marius’s longtime mistress—plan to confess Nomeda’s pregnancy by Marius at Christmas dinner. Their scheme unravels when their father Kazimieras shocks everyone by announcing his own divorce after fifty years, fearing his wife Alma has been unfaithful.

Juste volunteers at the electronic music festival in the middle of the woods. Everything seems to be nice and fun until an angry gang disrupts the event. Becoming their target and realizing there is no one to help her, Juste decides to take action herself.

Greta, a young woman, returns to Lithuania from abroad to find that her mother turned her room into a hair salon. While thinking of what to do next, Greta sees a TV episode on igloos and decides that the best course of action is to build one outside her mother’s apartment building and live in it. Greta’s igloo becomes the main issue of the neighbourhood – not because it causes them any inconvenience, but simply because it annoys them.

It is a gentle sense story about floor scraping and friends that just have moved in together.
