The story follows an encounter of the childhood friends that have not seen each other for more that twenty years. Their reunion, in the cold and windy night, will open a series of moral dilemmas and uncover deep buried traumas of the past.
The Cry
Grigorij, a cynical truck driver, gets into a dangerous car accident and wakes up in the small town of Nehaj, whose locals believe him to be a legendary war hero who went missing in action during WW2. Grigorij tries to prove his real identity to them, however, the machinations of the local mayor who had built an entire career on the fallen war hero's credibility and the disbelief of the locals, further complicate his situation.
