This film is a third-person diary of the encounters and disagreements between two unbelievers and a prophet. But before that, it is a crazy journey, where its brave characters will be involved in a series of (extra) ordinary events with a mysterious ball, spaceships and regional products.

“Before Dying I Prefer Death” is a documentary road movie about the bond between Malena and her father, El Poly (73), a musician exiled under the dictatorship. Marked by the disappearance of his brothers, El Poly carries grief that affects his daughters. Seeking to heal their relationship, they embark on one last trip in a yellow Chevy to fulfill El Poly’s wish: to find a home to live in.

Due of the pregnancy of his sister-in-law, Seba loses interest in his adolescent life of parties and alcohol. Now he fantasizes about the opportunity to form the family he never had, the one that his older brother rejects.
