Mayumi Tenkô

This is the story of a winter day. Kagamihara Nadeshiko, a female high school student who moved from Shizuoka to Yamanashi, rode a bicycle to see Mt. Fuji, but unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and Mt. Fuji cannot be seen. Tired, Nadeshiko falls asleep on the spot and wakes up at night. This is her first time going there and she didn't know how to return. Fortunately, Shima Rin, a girl who loves camping, saves her. They lit a bonfire to warm up and the sound of the blazing firewood permeates the silence of the lake.

In Kamakura, 12th grade Rikako falls in love with Tomoaki Fujii, rumoured to be the school Don Juan and having impregnated a girl. This doesn't bother Rikako one bit, as she too sleeps around.

News comes out that several people found 1 kg of solid gold in their mail boxes. Maya Yamabuki moves back to her hometown and surprises the movers by the amount of money she gives them.

In the near future of a Japan, the ancient 'Act of Vengeance' is revived and professional executioners are permitted to kill criminals by the requests from their victims. People who are to be executed are notified of the execution time and date in advance and they are allowed to have their own guard.

A young couple's announcement of their engagement to their friends is followed by a series of interactions and conflicts that forces everyone to reflect on their lives.

Dumped by a bored pet owner, a mixed-breed mutt ends up with three time loser Yasuyuki, who's loveless, homeless and jobless. Yasuyuki finds solace in the dog, whom he calls Tamura, and uses it to mend fences with his ex, who's distracted by her mother's debilitating illness. A trip to a hospital reveals Tamura's ability to comfort dying patients, leading to dog and master attending the real-life Japanese Therapy Dogs training school.

Fuyuko (Tomoko Nakajima), begins the film nine months pregnant, but doesn't deliver until her third year, to the bafflement of all around her.

Kaede's life is changed when she discovers that she is the product of her father's affair. She tries to confide in Dr. Nishijima, a lecturer that she has feelings for.

Takashi runs a barbershop in a country town. Tomoe was Takashi's girlfriend back in his high school days. She visits him and they meet for the first time in 14 years. Tomoe is going to marry soon. She asks him to shave the back of her neck.

While the wedding day should be blissful for the bride, Eiko, there is a secret that she can’t tell her fiance...

Inako Natsui is a quiet, modern girl working in a laboratory and living a closed and somewhat monotonous life in a small town. From time to time she goes to nearby to visit her lonely mother Wakayama who has been a widow for the past seventeen years. The girl's relatives, particularly Aunt Sadako and Uncle Shuhei, the local mayor's deputy, plan to introduce her to a suitable young man, but Inako has no real desire to get married. She is more interested in the hot mineral springs from where she takes her laboratory specimens. This all changes when she meets Mr Tamamiza, a young divorced man who's been left with a little boy. Her relatives are decidedly against the match. The girl falls in love with the man without realizing that she will encounter a painful conflict between her family and providence, as unexpectedly as the spring which gushes out from the geological fold, driven to the surface by mysterious subterranean forces.
