A unique drama anthology series for our time, inspired by true events which happened in Kyiv in the first few weeks after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. As the brutal war got underway, every second person left Kyiv. Yet every second person remained. These are their stories – variously moving, funny, sad, stark, unsettling, and uplifting.

Five-year-old Vitka and her teenage cousin Larysa both yearn for a life beyond the archaic rules and restricting confines of their small, godforsaken Ukrainian village. Despite her family's staunch objections, Larysa falls wildly in love with Scar, a handsome ex-convict. Hoping to leave their troubled past behind, the two plot their escape. Scar agrees to take on a criminal job in the city. Larysa, meanwhile, fends off an arranged marriage and awaits his return.

The story of the novice musician Kuzma. Three days before the planned concert he goes with his friend Bard to Berlin for the old car "Pobeda". It is said that there is a collector ready to exchange the yellow beast for the Mercedes-Benz W140 (called as "Mers"). Kuzma promises his girlfriend Barbara to return home in a new car, and the guys from the band - to have time to perform. From the first minutes of the trip, of course, everything goes wrong. However, one thing is certain: the adventure will help the heroes find their true purpose.

Self-centered and moody careerist Yana accidentally casts a spell on herself — all the men she sleeps with turn into dogs. How can Yana keep living, working, and looking for love with this strange curse and a pack of insufferable cute doggies?

The legendary giftgiver enters a race against time to help the broken man regain his childlike wonder, or else one will forever loose the abbility to feel joy and the other, his magical powers.

Four carefree bachelors get into a car accident after a night of partying and find themselves in purgatory — a world of endless bureaucracy and chaotic digital reforms. At the Heaven’s Office, they receive their sentence: a direct express train to hell. Using their charm, they convince the purgatory secretary to give them a chance — seven days on Earth to atone for their sins. But once back, they realize they’ve fallen into a trap hidden in the perfectly ironic fine print of heaven.

Koval is a lonely investigator for whom work is the only meaning of life. He awaits the NBR - a department that investigates the most complex murders. A team of eccentric but loyal professionals becomes his family, and Koval's own secrets are the most painful.

Theater and film actor, Mykola Veresen' dies on the set while performing the role of Ivan the Terrible. In the moment of death, his karma transforms into the bloody murderer he embodied, and he falls into Sheol, a common grave for all the dead. Squat32 is a modern Peter Pan story of searching one`s way to adulthood, and finding own style and talents. Lisa works as a photographer in the Passport Center. One day she comes across a commune of free and talented dreamers’ artists, dancers, musicians, who are squatting in half-ruined desolate house. An eighty-year-old Faina is the only legal resident of the house and the sole obstacle for the developer who plans demolish the whole block including the SquatHouse. Lisa is mesmerized by the energy, freedom and creativity of the commune. They fight for their way of living, create and change the world around them. Lisa herself changes, she begins to search for her place in the world, develops her vision and style. Thanks to Squat32 Lisa’s work as a photographer is noticed and her world and possibilities widen.

A man, facing terminal cancer, makes a harrowing choice: to settle his debts and secure a future for his wife, he agrees to sell his own euthanasia to a grotesque reality show. As the cameras roll, his final act becomes both a spectacle and a tragic testament to love, sacrifice, and the price of dignity.
