When Mariam, a young Tunisian woman, is raped by police officers after leaving a party, she is propelled into a harrowing night in which she must fight for her rights even though justice lies on the side of her tormentors.

Tunis, summer 2010, a few months before the Revolution: Farah, 18 years old, has just graduated and her family already sees her as a future doctor. But she doesn't have the same idea. She sings in a political rock band, has a passion for life, gets drunk, discovers love and her city by night against the wishes of her mother Hayet, who knows Tunisia and its dangers all too well.

Mohamed, a steelworker shattered by the death of his friend in a tragic accident, lives with a piece of rusted metal lodged in his head. As the rust spreads through his body, he rises against corruption, becoming a symbol of resistance and sacrifice.

Najet, whom the doctors say that she will die soon, thus, she decides to take the rest of her life head-on, instead of giving in to self-pity.

The work deals with the story of a man who remains silent all the time and is the main driver of events, as everyone seeks to discover his secrets, and at this desire meet eight different personalities who all agree on curiosity.
