One summer day, two teens begin a reckless affair and abandon their families to be with one another.

She falls in love with him, but doesn't know how to hook him, as he is very shy and unskilled in courting women. In the meantime Åsa-Nisse, the village rogue, carries out some of his pranks.

However, the house where her work is located has been sold and the new owner does not want the daycare to remain, because he is only interested in dogs. Eventually, Marie manages to get the host to think better and, with some tricks, even get him to like children.
