Johan is a friendly but self-absorbed man with a difficult inability to say no. He strives for the perfect life, but is getting involved constantly in uncomfortable situations.

The Andersson family and the Blixt family is going to Karin's aunt Hulda to celebrate Midsummer. But just before they leave, Sophie breaks up with Sune! The disaster is gigantic. Sune decides to win Sophie back by celebrating a truly romantic midsummer with her - just like mom and dad did 20 years ago. But the question is whether Sune thinks too much about everything being good in his way, and forgets that not everyone thinks like him ...

Alex's high opinion of himself isn't backed up by reality as he is unemployed and having trouble with his girlfriend. When he finally gets a job with the local council/municipality of Hudiksvall his life is about to change. Suddenly Alex finds himself the leader of a local theatre group of people with learning difficulties. Through their work together, Alex comes to appreciate that we all have our own talents which can grow if given the opportunity and support. "The Importance of Tying Your Own Shoes" is based on the work of the Glada Hudik Theatre whose performances have met with success in Sweden and internationally since it was formed in 1996.

A Swedish independent comedy about power. The 25-year-old idealist ANTON is First AD (First Assistant Director) on a feature film shooting. 10-year-old lead character KLARA has a strong fairness pathos and she and Anton become friends during filming. Anton's role as leader of the shooting is torpedoed from all sides and he gets more and more broken down by the job - and one day he just snaps! Klara sees what happens and is forced to use the great power she actually has, to really make a change.
