Spooks: Code 9 is a 2008 six-episode BBC spin-off of the spy drama Spooks. In a near-future 2013 Britain following a devastating London terror attack, a new, younger team of MI5 recruits—including Charlie, Rachel, Jez, Vik, Rob, and Kylie—work from a new Manchester headquarters to battle terrorism in a highly surveilled, post-attack world. It offers a younger, more 'maverick' perspective on the Spooks universe, focusing on the challenges of liberty and security in a tense society. The series was commissioned by BBC Fiction's controller Jane Tranter as a spin-off of their long-running drama Spooks in order to attract a younger audience. The decision to relate the new project to the original Spooks was controversial; but there are no crossover characters or storylines and, most importantly, is set in a completely new world.
Spirit Warriors is an award-winning BBC children's adventure series, broadcast on BBC Two, BBC HD and CBBC. It is the first British television drama series to have a predominantly East Asian cast. Very loosely inspired by ancient Chinese myths and legends, the show follows Bo, her sister Jen, and fellow schoolchildren Vicky, Trix and Martin who, during a trip to a museum, are transported to a parallel spirit world. Once there, they find themselves transformed into Spirit Warriors, each with his or her own special spirit power. With the help of their mentor Shen, a dragon, they have to use their new-found skills to navigate the realms of Wood, Water, Earth and Fire and find twelve legendary spirit pieces before the evil warlord Li and his henchman Hwang can get their hands on them.
Unhinged gangster Capone (Paul Bibb) walks into a bar with accomplice Tung (Peter Peralta,) with the plan of stealing the contents of the safe. The situation gets complicated when they have to wait four hours to get the code to the safe. For Capone it's a job, for Tung it's a lifeline. To ensure that they get the code, Capone and Tung hold feisty barmaid Charleene (Alexandra B. Harris) and lovable loser Bob (Amar Adatia) hostage. Will Capone and Tung get the contents of the safe? Will Bob and Charleene get out of this alive? One thing is for sure, it is going to be an interesting Four Hours!
