"The Actors of Cannes" is a documentary film project that showcases a painful part of Kosovo’s history – the spring 1990 school poising of 8400 students by the Serbian government. The mass poisoning of Albanian Kosovars targeted students, teachers, citizens, even young children in preschools.

Through the eyes of Era, a resilient yet fragile woman, the audience is introduced to a dystopian reality where victims and perpetrators of violence are intertwined, and the boundaries between guilt and innocence become blurred.

A young Albanian immigrant and his French fiance decide to pay a surprise visit to his native village. Their surprise turns sour when his family learns the true reasons behind their son's return.

Set in an area between the Yugoslavia and Albanian border in the year 1968, an idealist teacher wants to cross the border to Albania, where he believes he will find a state of ideal communism.

Amel is an actress who seeks for her destiny in an audition organized by a foreign production. Finally she gets announced that she got a part in the movie. Amel feels lucky, however, is she going to have the same luck also in the world of movies? Her path towards an acting career will be difficult.
