Storyland is an award-winning initiative by RTÉ.ie and Screen Ireland, a program that develops and showcases new, original Irish short dramas by emerging talent in writing, directing, and acting. It operates as a competitive call-out for scripts, with the top finalists receiving funding and support to produce their 25-minute short dramas, which are then broadcast on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player.

Cian and Pat have been joined at the hip since they were kids and have the run of their small town in the midlands. Cian is content to coast through a life of booze and casual hook-ups, while Pat has grown weary of his surroundings.

The film centres on local small-town GAA football "outside the bright lights of Croke Park", following a player who struggles to get back into the sport after an injury.

Shunned by her parents and dumped by her boyfriend, Sarah is left alone to deal with the trauma of her abortion. While recovering at an old parochial home, she is tormented by the spirits of the unborn who seek a mother.

Through a series of increasingly violent acts, a man attempts to stop a gang from tracking him down.

Steel worker Jason lives in a remote town in the midlands. He has been sporadically awaking at 03:47. Sleep deprived and suffering from insomnia he wlaks the lonely streets at night trying to pass the time until his early morning shift. One night, he encounters an unnerving teenager who begins screaming for help. Jason’s boss is frustrated and feels he is a liability. The teenager is starts to appear at Jason’s work. Again, Jason awakes at 03:47 and sees the teenager floors below staring into his window. He tries to find the kid but he is gone. The next day Jason, who is now a walking zombie, has an accident with a saw. His boss Graham sends him home. That night, Jason lays in wait for 03:47 to come. He then goes out determined to confront this teenager. The teenager startles Jason. Jason becomes entranced and follows the teenager deep down into the woods. Here the teenagers skeletal remains lay dormant in a crashed 1960’s car. The teenager vanishes. Now Jason can finally sleep.
