If the carefree attitude of youth had a name, it would be MED. Mehdi, alias Med, is a refreshingly unconventional teen, born from an Arab mother and a Quebecois father.

Bénédicte, a famous opera singer, leads the life of a diva between Parisian palaces and social gatherings. After an evening of excess, she sees her career crumble. Fatou, also a palace regular but as a cleaning lady, is the only one to reach out to her. Passionate about singing, Fatou has one idea in mind: to convince Bénédicte to take part in the big national karaoke contest. The perfect vocal mastery of one and the tenacity of the other could well create sparks and take them very far.

Maximum tension in the Fontella household: father and son are both facing life-changing moments. Michel Fontella, the father, has a crucial meeting with his boss in hopes of landing the coveted position of regional director at Juhel Bank. Meanwhile, his son, Adam Fontella, is about to visit a dream apartment he’s determined to move into.

Kid Paddle is a typical young boy with a passionate love for video games, comic books, Blorks (fictional aliens), and sci-fi television. His two best friends are Big Bang and Horace. Big Bang is more of a kid scientist, who is always creating new gadgets for Kid to try out. He is very intelligent for his age. Horace is more naive compared to the other two, and has a very bizarre appetite. He's always very supportive of Kid and looks up to him. As is typical for young children, Kid often fights with his sister, Carol, who finds her brother to be a degenerate air-head.
