Xavier Kanishka (Born February 25, 1989) is an accomplished Sri Lankan stage and screen actor who has established a reputation for dedication and versatility. Kanishka holds a Diploma in Drama & Theatre Casting Direction and completed his training with the respected Somalatha Subasinghe Playhouse Assistant Direction. Beyond his acting career, he is an active advocate who contributed to an island-wide campaign series for the Legal Aid Commission from 2014 to 2016. Proficient in both English and Sinhala, his diverse skill set includes driving, swimming, soccer, cricket, diving, singing, and playing the guitar. This combination of formal theatre education, social engagement, and physical skills informs his work as an extremely empathetic and versatile performer, ready to tackle roles across various media.
