A young writer sends secret love letters to her neighbor, whom she spies on her window every day. He reads and collects them until one day, lacking inspiration, he appropriates one of them and sends it to his beloved. From here on, these letters of love, and some other heartbreaking ones, will travel between different characters who will steal each other's words, until they end up halfway around the world.

A couple enters an island in search of land that belongs to them, but the hostile jungle environment ends up driving them away. Maria is left alone and walks through the jungle until she inadvertently comes across an old house inhabited by an islander who will teach her about the place and about love.

Julia and Tomás are together. Somehow. It's not quite clear how, but they're together. They spend the day together in an apartment. More or less alone, but not entirely. They do their own thing, waste time, and have adventures.
