After meeting one day, a shy boy who expresses himself through haiku and a bubbly but self-conscious girl share a brief, magical summer.

A bored accountant spots a beautiful woman in the window of a ballroom dance studio. He secretly starts taking dancing lessons to be near her, and then over time discovers how much he loves dancing. His wife, meanwhile, has hired a private detective to find out why he has started coming home late smelling of perfume.

This is a biographical film about the late Yoko Araki, who was the wife of Japan's leading photographer, Nobuyoshi Araki.

An overworked career woman leaves her life in the city for an island vacation only to encounter eccentric local inhabitants.

In Tokyo, actress Touko leaves the filming set of her latest project and comes across three people by random chance: she gives a ride to a man named Nagano, whom she has never met before; at a small theater, runs into Kikuchi, a former screenwriter; lastly, meets Yasuko at the zoo.

Hana, Toki and Toki’s daughter Toshi begin to live in the countryside. Hana’s nephew Akira, who just graduated from middle school, also lives with them. Doing farm work everyday, Hana and Toki get used to life in the countryside with help from couple Gen and Shiori. One day, Toshi and Akira decide to raise a cat to catch rats. A cat named Tom then begins to live with them.

On The Beach is a compilation of music from the Crown library, with sounds of ocean waves. The video version pairs the music and sounds with scenes of summer, featuring plenty of waves, sand, and much more

Shimada, a former Self-Defense Force member, suffers from severe PTSD following the loss of a comrade in a firefight in war-torn South Sudan, a tragedy covered up by the government. Shining a light into Shimada's solitary life in illegal arms manufacturing is a job as an apprentice at a traditional Japanese fireworks factory. There he begins crafting fireworks alongside the master artisan and fellow craftsmen who embrace fireworks that illuminate people's peaceful lives. Yet, parallel to Shimada's journey, his comrades-in-arms with unresolved feelings team up on radical acts to expose the government's cover-up, escalating tensions and pulling Shimada back into the darkness he thought he'd left behind.

Concert footage from a nationwide tour with Taeko Onuki & Ryuichi Sakamoto's collaboration album "UTAU" was held at Tokyo International Forum on December 10, 2010 and December 11, 2010. The album is named "UTAU" because Onuki spins words to Sakamoto's songs and sings them. The two old acquaintances, who have shared musical activities and inspired each other, pursue their "songs" in the ultimate minimal space with only the two of them on stage, reminding us once again of the power of music and the beauty that songs possess.
