Maavari Manchitanam (transl. My Husband's Goodness) is a 1979 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by A. Pundarikakshaiah and directed by B. A. Subba Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Vanisri, with music composed by Master Venu. The film is a remake of the Hindi film Do Anjaane (1976), itself based on the novel Ratrir Yatri by Nihar Ranjan Gupta.

The film is a social drama, with its plot around university professor Dr. Kumar (Ashok Kumar), who lives with his wife Padma (Bhanumati), his drunkard son Jyoti (Raaj Kumar), outgoing daughter Chitra (Tanuja) and his friend's daughter Rekha (Mala Sinha). Dr. Kumar and his wife have a different outlook towards life, with him preferring books and philosophy, while his wife Padma prefers social gatherings and society clubs. Padma never considered Jyoti her son, who works as a mill designer, a profession she considers too poor to acknowledge. Chitra is encouraged by her mother to mingle freely in high society, much to the disappointment of her worried father.

Savithri, who does not have any kids with her husband, decides to adopt her sister's child. Things take a turn when her sister meets her child after many years and yearns for him.

Setarer Sur revolves around five friends -Sunil, Brajesh, Ranjan, Suhash and Avijit -who are all attracted to their common friend, Basobi. Basobi seems to be close to Ranjan. Then, she suddenly declares she will marry Brajesh, as she has always been in love with him. Just days before the wedding, Basobi is found dead at home and renowned detective Kiriti is approached to solve the case.

Kiriti Roy and his wife Krishna goes to Puri for their honeymoon, where Kiriti meets his longtime neighbor Kali Sarkar. Kali is a gold merchant and a master in mathematics and chess. However, Kali suddenly goes missing and Kiriti gets involved in the case. As Kiriti unravels the mystery, he comes face to face with some interesting and shocking facts about Kali's life, his business and also the motives behind the series of unwanted incidents that take place.
