Biography
Eric Gladhart (born 1970) is an American actor, presenter, and voice coach who has lived and worked primarily in Germany since the mid-1990s. Prior to moving to Germany, Gladhart performed in theater productions in Missouri, appearing in plays such as *The Odd Couple*, *The Hairy Ape*, *The Marriage of Bette and Boo*, and *The Vegetable*, among others. He has resided in Munich since 1995. His career in German cinema began with a casting by director Nico Hofmann for a Hugo Boss commercial. He subsequently appeared in films such as Olaf Ittenbach’s *Legion of the Dead*, the thriller *Munich Mambo*, and *(T)Raumschiff Surprise – Periode 1*, in which he played the role of Steve Zweifelt. Alongside his acting work, Gladhart hosted the "Basic English Course" for *Telekolleg*, produced by Bayerischer Rundfunk. Furthermore, he works as a voice coach, intercultural consultant, and personal coach, as well as an English-language teacher and educator.

After his wife is murdered Karl loses his fire and disappears into underground Munich. He resurfaces as a hired snoop for Earth Now, a radical ecology group. Enter the beautiful and mysterious Petra Schmitt. She hires Karl to find her missing sister and Karl soon finds himself drawn into a world of half-truths and lies as his simple missing-person case develops into a murder case that quickly becomes international in scope. Petra and Karl must work together in order to thwart Petrov, a cold-blooded gangster who will kill anyone who gets in his way. While fighting to save themselves, they must prevent Petrov from getting a stolen computer chip containing the international banking codes for the new Euro.
