Biography
She makes cinema, analog collage and stop motion. She graduated from the National School of Cinematographic Arts (ENAC-UNAM) and from Bande a Part in Barcelona, where she studied a film script diploma. Grand Jury Award at the Caravan Film Festival in Italy for Valentina, a short documentary; Award for the best Cineminuto of the 7th Metropolitan Festival of Cineminuto and Short Narratives. Co-director of Incrustations, a video installation that was presented at the MUAC. Scholar of PECDA-FECAS 2017-2018 and of FONCA Young Creators in Audiovisual Media 2022-2023.
Known For
A ritual in the form of a film essay that explores, through collage, the sense of exile experienced during early childhood migration. It examines the primal configuration of detachment from one’s homeland, family environment, and body, and the reclamation of origins as a symbolic center.

Among old books and forgotten papers emerge the "guts" of Mrs. Tagle: clippings, letters, notes and diary fragments that survive as remnants of a life.

A Flock of Thunder
