Biography
Sophie is an emerging director, originally from Côte-Nord and graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Film Production degree. Even though she hasn't lived there for 9 years, her native region remains one of her greatest inspirations. It's the memories, the landscapes and the people that are at the center of her creative universe. Since the region is often portrayed through a tourist lens, Sophie seeks to offer a more intimate portrait and to shine the heart of the territory through its inhabitants.
