Little Bear wants to surprise his mother for her birthday with a picture he has painted himself. To avoid being discovered, he sits on the chimney of the house. The smoke that seeps into the kitchen obscures the mother bear's view and a pot breaks. The little bear empties his money box to get a replacement. On the way, he meets his friends playing ball and joins in enthusiastically. The ball bursts in the bear's paws. The little boy spends his money on a new ball. When his friends come back, he tells them what the money was actually meant for. They understand his grief and together they make a new pot, which the baker bakes for them. With flowers, the painted picture and the pot, they wish the mother bear a happy birthday.
In each of the valleys stretching to the sides of the river, a goat lives. Both animals consider themselves unsurpassable. One day the goats, finely groomed, go for a walk. They meet on the narrow bridge. Each is indignant at the other, that this one wants to be the most beautiful. Both goats decide to ignore each other. With their heads turned haughtily away, they bump into each other on the middle of the bridge and fall into the water together.
On the night before the trip to the winter holiday, a boy dreams of the adventures he will experience in the mountains. Of course, he wants to try his new skis on a steep descent. He disdains the hill for beginners on which his sister practices. During his daring ride from the highest mountain, the boy gets into the rails of the railway and bumps into the end of the train. But since this happens in his dream, he manages, with the help of his sister, to pull the compressed train apart again like a harmonica. Both children get on the train and go home.
Two children, a boy and a girl, are each given a piggy bank. The boy is unimpressed and happily continues to spend his money. The girl takes every opportunity to "feed" her beautiful pig quite often. She is rewarded for this exemplary behavior with a ride to toyland.
Peter is a good football goalkeeper, but as much as his team can rely on him, he takes it so little exactly with his duties, with schoolwork and washing, for example. Of course, the fives literally grow over his head. They crawl out of the booklet and take Peter with them to the land of Fives. There he is naturalized and entered in the population register of the country of the lazy. Peter thinks it's wonderful here. He does not need to study and does not need to wash. However, over time, it bothers him that not only he is dirty, but the whole country is decaying, because no one works.

One day the meadow king notices that the grass has grown so high that he can no longer see over it. He investigates and finds out that the sheep have not come to graze, that the shepherd cannot work because he is hungry, that the farmer does not give the shepherd anything to eat because the mice are eating everything and that the cat does not want to chase the mice because they are so dirty. Then the king speaks a word of power...
Despite the mother goat's warning, the little goats fall for the wolf's tricks, open the door and all but one are eaten. The mother finds her last child, takes heart and approaches the sleeping wolf. She frees her children from its belly. The beast gets a load of stones sewn into its stomach and falls into the well while drinking.
During a football match, three mice kick a few stones that hit a sleeping lion on the head. Then the ball lands in front of him and a mouse rolls after it. The little mouse, trembling, asks the lion for his ball and gets away scot-free. A little later, the mice hear a loud roar from the nearby forest. They run after the noise and discover the lion in a trap. Together they free him with a trick and ride off on his back.
An old widower comes up with a plan to not spend Christmas alone.
The film tells the well-known fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, in which the little girl Little Red Riding Hood is led astray by the wolf, devoured along with her grandmother and saved by the huntsman.

At camp, the boys Mäxchen and Knirps make friends with a squirrel. Envious Emil wants to spoil their fun with the little animal and invents a hair-raising story in which he allegedly captures a wild lion, tames it and takes it home with him. Mäxchen's bragging gets too much, he steals away and lets out a menacing lion's roar with the help of a watering can. Emil flees, his hair dusted with horror. Everyone rejoices at his embarrassment - including the squirrel.

Otto, the master of the house, behaves in an exemplary manner. He washes, cooks, does housework, gives presents to his wife, in short, he does everything to make her life as comfortable as possible. But when the clock strikes midnight, that is, March 8 is over, he falls into bed and considers his task fulfilled for a year.
Rotary machines spew out extra sheets. Cars pile up, people run together. Everything has one goal: the rocket launch site. The first manned moon rocket is to be launched, marking the conquest of the moon by the USA. The sensational program about the launch rolls on, commented on by an incessantly chattering reporter. There is an embarrassing accident at the control desk: the generals from the Air Force and the Navy cannot agree on who should carry out the launch. The rocket finally lifts off, but only the upper part flies away. Nevertheless, the reporter agrees with the stunned spectators that the operation was successful and has cleared the way to the American moon. The rocket lands on target. The crew confidently disembarks. The sensation of the century is perfect. However, the horror of the visitors to the moon is great when they realize that a Soviet expedition has already begun exploring the moon without much ado.

A girl stands alone at the window after a night of love, which is the end of the relationship with a guy, and thinks about the past time with the boyfriend. She remembers the beautiful moments and decides not to despair and dare to make a fresh start.
A little fire breaks out in a man’s apartment. He panically tries to call the other inhabitants in the house for help, but nobody lets him speak. Instead he is being happily pulled from one apartment into the next one, making him more and more nervous. Eventually, he runs into the streets and gets into a big group of heady-with-victory football fans.
