Romm pulls out all the stops in its selection of documentary material to draw the viewer not only into absolute horror about fascism and nazism in the 1920s–1940s Europe, but also to a firm conviction that nothing of the sort should be allowed to happen again anywhere in the world.

Set in the Soviet scientific community, Nine Days of One Year follows two dedicated physicists whose close friendship unfolds amid dangerous nuclear research, shaped by their shared affection for a strong-willed woman. As radiation exposure, scientific ambition, and personal relationships intersect, the film offers a thoughtful, human portrait of scientists confronting the risks of progress and the choices that define their lives.

Grusha's (Lidiya Fedoseyeva-Shukshina) husband has left her and she is now a single parent to her adolescent son Vitya (Vladimir Naumenko). Her brother Nikolay (Mikhail Ulyanov) is determined to hook her up with his friend Vladimir (the film's co-director Stanislav Lyubshin). For Grusha and Vladimir to have privacy to build up their relationship, Nikolay decides his nephew Vitya needs to stay out of the way, so he urges Vitya to come live with his family for a while. However, Grusha's not so sure about the arrangement. Based on a play by Vasiliy Shukshin.

Nina Denisova, a student of a pedagogical institute, together with a concert brigade comes to the construction of a railroad. Here she meets her former classmate, with whom she is secretly in love, and decides to stay at the construction site. Nina will not immediately realize that because of Tolik she should not have left the institute and changed her life in such a way, but she will not regret her decision.

A sad story about a series of tragic events which happened in Greece during the seventies.

Originally called World '68, later retitled The World of Today Romm’s film was conceived as an impassioned, large-scale essay on the origins of the 20th century and the subsequent reality the disappointed director felt slipping away from him. The film itself slipped away from him and was left unfinished at the time of his death. His younger colleagues, Marlen Khutsiev, Elem Klimov and German Lavrov, completed the film from the elements he left behind in addition to segments from Ordinary Fascism, closing the film with Romm’s ultimately optimistic outlook: "And still I believe that man is sensible..."

Once upon a time, old man Setleaf did a dirty trick, leaving Hughie Luke penniless, and got rich. Hughie looked for work for a long time, but happiness never smiled on him. Hughie is an honest guy, and he would never go for this job. But he has to save his friend who's in trouble. And to do that, he has to get some money. And so Hughie broke into the huge Setliff mansion, he wanted to take only what was rightfully his. But, confused by the labyrinth of corridors and rooms, Hughie came face to face with Setliff's daughter.

Ten steps from the round pillar, in the ruins of the old fortress of Kum-Basan-Kala, secret messages are hidden, which must be delivered abroad. For these documents, foreign intelligence sends its spy. The film tells about the events that took place in the old fortress.
