Biography
Nate Neal is a cartoonist and filmmaker. He is the author of the acclaimed graphic novel "The Sanctuary" (2010, Fantagraphics Books) about a Paleolithic cave painter, and he has created comics for Mad Magazine, Nickelodeon and SpongeBob. His first live-action movie Chet and Elzie Go Cartooning (2015) was based on his experiences within the New York City cartooning scene. His latest film is Treasure of the Lost Reel (2026).
