The film is about the Khojaly tragedy. It tells the story of two teenagers, a brother and sister, who endure incredible suffering to escape from enemy encirclement. The two teenagers, who witness the incredible suffering inflicted on Azerbaijani prisoners by the Armenians, see the only way out is to throw themselves off a mountain.

The film's hero is the city's famous barber, Mammadali. He is passionate about his profession. His clients are officials and famous people. A humorous and gentle man by nature, Mammadali has a difficult relationship with his wife. His wife is a teacher, a frivolous woman who looks down on her husband's profession... Although his wife and older son are indifferent toward him, he doesn't make a tragedy out of it; on the contrary, he tries to be understanding. And he has enough love for both his profession and his family. Even when his sixteen-year-old son asks him to leave the house on his birthday, wanting to be alone with his friends, he understands.
