Taxidi Tou Melitos is about the fear that most elderly people experience: approaching death. Leon (Stavros Xenides) and Zaharoula (Betty Livanou) are heading out for their annual vacation at a summer resort. The camera finally focuses on Yanna's life, which seems to be going uphill. Remaining steadfast in her beliefs, she looks for work. When, after a year, she manages to find a job in the offices of a factory, her boss, Mr. Georgiou, makes advances towards her and she seriously injures him.

To convince his wealthy uncle to keep sending his monthly cheques, a poor man lies about his marital status. But, when the relative returns to Greece, he talks his partner into posing as his wife. Will they get away with fraud so easily?
