Biography
Michael Stevantoni is a filmmaker from Campbell River, British Columbia. After studying film production at Chapman University, he made his feature debut with Salton Sea (2018), which premiered at the Blow-Up Chicago International Arthouse Film Festival and won the Stanley Kubrick Award for Best Feature. His second feature, Death Letter Blues (2023), premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival, was acquired by Dark Sky Films, and won Best Feature at the Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival. After a decade in Southern California, Stevantoni relocated to Austin, Texas, where he directs music videos and commercials while developing his next film.
