A terrifying and brutal virus has wiped out large parts of the Earth's population. Three childhood friends, Erik, Petter, and Sara, are among the few survivors trying to survive in a world filled with danger. They hear rumors of a vaccine that has been developed further north, but run into trouble when they encounter an underground baron who has his own agenda for the vaccine. On top of everything else, bloodthirsty carriers of the virus are lurking around in the attic.

Mikkel and Mathilde are complete opposites, and share nothing except math class on Fridays. But when Mathilde dreams, she encounters a whole new side of Mikkel - who turns out to be dreaming the same dream. Can this meeting change everything?
