Set in Queens, the film follows a young woman who forms an attachment to a man she meets at a recreational soccer tournament. As her feelings remain unreciprocated, she experiences the emotional strain of unrequited love. The narrative draws inspiration from "The Sorrows of Young Werther."

After a stint in rehab, a young opioid addict returns home to his addict girlfriend and their friends with one goal: leave and never come back.
