Biography
Jenny Jokela (1990) is a Finnish animation director and illustrator based in the UK. She graduated from Royal College of Art in 2017, where she studied MA Animation. Her graduation film Barbeque has won multiple awards including Cristal at Annecy 2018. Since 2018, Jenny directs and animates Finnish kids TV show Hoppsorna. In her colourful and expressive personal work Jenny explores visualising the invisible; feelings and emotions, often around the topics of sexuality and trauma.
Known For

The visual accompaniment to Coldplay’s No 1 album Moon Music, created by over 150 different visual artists from 45 countries. Each artist was given a handful of music snippets from Moon Music and asked to create corresponding visuals. There were no rules or guidelines, and no knowledge of other artists’ creations.
