Home Troopers is a 2010–11 Hong Kong television serial drama starring Liza Wang, Ha Yu, Kevin Cheng and Bernice Liu. Produced by Lam Chi-wah, the series is a TVB production. The drama follow the lives of the middle class Chukot family, who helps organize a housekeeping business in Hong Kong. The family works through domestic struggles and family changes after eldest son Joseph is left with unpaid company debts handed down by his business partner Fred, who mysteriously disappears with the money not long after they started the Master Home Services Company. Joseph is also left in care for Fred's struggling girlfriend Kam and her 4-year-old son, Sing. Joseph's family, led by his mother Ka-ka, decides to help the business by attending the housekeeping work themselves. The drama's original run premiered on 27 December 2010 on Hong Kong's TVB Jade and TVB HD Jade channels.

Men Don't Cry is a TVB period comedy series broadcast in October 2007, to celebrate TVB's 40th Anniversary. The shown was rerun from Thursday, January 29, 2009 to February 26, 2009 from Monday to Friday at 12:05am on TVB Jade in Hong Kong. The Chinese title is a reference to Shi Jian, who had played as villains in many Wong Fei Hung movies featuring Kwan Tak Hing as Wong Fei Hung, and later in TVB's television series. Reversing the trends set by previous Wong Fei Hung stories, the title archvillain assumes the leading role of the series, with Wong Fei Hung as the supporting role.
Bitter rivals KWOK FU KEUNG (CHAN KAM HUNG, SUNNY) and KUK YEUK HEI (NG MEI HENG, MELISSA) have proposed a brand new “Love Insurance Plan” almost simultaneously. A renowned Chinese medicine practitioner Cheung Si-Sung passed on his Chinese medicine shop to his son Wai-On after his wife died. Wai-On did not take good care of the shop and it lost its customers. Si-Sung’s grandson Yee-Fai works for a large Chinese medicine company. His enthusiasm attracts his colleague Sin-Yu, who does not want to work under her rich father. Yee-Fai goes to Shanghai on business, and while there, he looks for an old friend of Si-Sung’s. Sin-Yu goes along with him as his secretary, and volunteers to help him fulfil his grandfather’s wish. Later, Yee-Fai meets Chinese medicine practitioner Geung Sum-Yu and Gook Yut-Siu. As Yee-Fai gets to know Yut-Siu better, they eventually work together in the medicine business.
