Known For
A woodland setting flooded by sunlight. Three men and three women meet for a picnic, and talk and argue about love, dreams, beliefs and fears. All of them suffer from so-called tics: the Tourette syndrome.
But Still

Four young people—a Turkish woman who has escaped a forced marriage, a Japanese musician, an anarchist, and a male prostitute—retreat from the outside world in an abandoned shipyard and develop a kind of love-hate relationship with each other. At times oppressively realistic, this milieu study of "lost" urban youth loses much of its impact due to its overly complicated script.
Heads On Fire
Checko returns from the cities to his home in the Allgäu region. He wants to check on his grandfather Felix, who now lives alone—a loner, a recluse, as they say. The old man and the young man set off on a journey. Felix is searching for the story, for history, but also for the story of his friend Anton, with whom he distributed leaflets against the murderous regime during the Third Reich and with whom he also shared a girlfriend.
