Hamza, after being released from prison, struggles to reconcile with his past while trying to build a new identity and life for himself. Meanwhile, Khaled, an Afghan refugee, survives by working as a shepherd in a small village, but his love for the village headman's daughter clashes with the rigid traditions of the community.
