Near the end of the Chosun Dynasty, a vagabond named Eok-swoi wandered over all of Korea. On a snowy winter day, she clears an obstacle from a sloping road and rolls over to a cliff. Hwa-sun lays her bloody Man-seok next to her and grabs the steering wheel of the truck. Hwa-sun howls and accelerates, but Man-seok finally closes her eyes.
