Years passed by Melek's married and has a child however fate has manifested once more and this time her husband joined the martyrs in the family. With her husbands martyrdom her dreams came to the state of a different situation because now she dreams of her father and a different martyr with him. Halil, a police officer, shoots an illegal immigrant during a clash while on duty. While his trial is ongoing, he returns to his family home in Dalyan. The boat used for human trafficking sinks off the coast of Aşı Koyu. Some of the traffickers die, while others survive. Halil finds Jordan, one of the survivors, and takes him to the hospital. Yaren, a nurse at the hospital, pressures Halil to communicate with Jordan. Jordan's father is an illegal worker in Greece. Halil helps Jordan find his father. Melek Dinç, who works in the Public Relations Department of Dalaman Municipality, is a Ghanaian illegal immigrant who takes Jordan under her wing and acts as a mother to him.

During this time, some of the volunteers are killed in an attack at Anzac, while Hasan, Yusuf, Çopur, Rüstem Çavuş, and Istanbul-born Eftal are taken to a prisoner-of-war camp.
