The film is about a day of the 19th-20th century famous tycoons from Baku Agha Musa Naghiyev and Hadji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev.

The center of the psychological drama is the Crazy Samad. However, despite his name being Crazy Samad, he is more honest and intelligent than some people. Since the film is based on a combination of three stories, it tells the story of the misfortunes of three different families: Samad, who is tortured by his brother, Karbalai Eyvaz, who beats his wife because of her stubbornness, and Zuleykha, who is beaten by her husband because of her harsh language. We look at all these events through the eyes of Crazy Samad.

"Qudrat" returns to his village after many years and decides to marry his beloved girl "Tali". "Tali" tells him about the prison of demons in Takht Soleyman, which "Qudrat" takes as a joke, and even when "Tali" goes missing on his wedding night, "Qudrat" refuses to accept the "prison of demons". Years later, when "Qudrat" has reached old age, he finds a trace of "Tali" and, in search of her, reaches the "prison of demons" in the hills of Takht Soleyman. After a fight with the demons, he frees "Tali" and other acquaintances.
