Narasimha Rao Relangi

A young man lies that he got married to impress his boss who hates bachelors and shows a random photo of a girl and claims her as his wife. But when she enters his life, things start to change a lot.

The film begins in a compound, the home of three families, Bhaskar (Rajendra Prasad) a bus conductor, Narasimham (Satyanarayana) a typist, and Dharma Rao (Suthi Velu) an accountant. Narasimham has three daughters, Lakshmi (Srilakshmi), Uma (Rajyalakshmi) and Aruna (Gauthami). Lakshmi married a loaf Mohan (Chandra Mohan) one that bothers them. At present, Narasimham is engaged to find alliance for Uma but he is hog-tied because of dowry. Meanwhile, Aruna is a headstrong woman, aspires to couple up with Mr. Moneybag. Besides, Dharma Rao is honest, but his wife Varalakshmi (P.R. Varalakshmi) accustomed to spendthrift life for her vanity. Eventually, Bhaskar maintains an affinity with his neighbors and falls for Aruna, but she is hostile.

The film begins with the marriage of Giri (Rajendra Prasad) and Seeta (Rajani). Seeta is an Orthodox woman, who troubles Giri with her traditional customs on the provocation of her grandmother Akhilandeswari (Nirmalamma). Giri works at the branch office of a chit fund company owned by Krishna (Nutan Prasad). Krishna leads a happy family life with his wife Radha (Y. Vijaya). Once he visits the branch office, appreciates Giri's sincerity, gives him the promotion and he is transferred to head office. In the process of searching for a rental house, Giri is attracted towards a prostitute Sandhya (Chandrika). But to his misfortune, they were caught by Police. To escape, he introduces her as his wife and for the witness they call Krishna. Krishna takes them and keeps in his opposite house, helpless Giri has to obey his order.

Ram Babu, a mimicry artist, likes to collect different kinds of dolls. But he gets shocked when his new doll is possessed by a ghost.

A woman finds out that her husband is having an affair with an old college friend of hers. Soon, they hatch a plan to teach him a lesson.

Balu falls in love with Swapna and her father Chakravarthy, a strict disciplinarian, agrees to their marriage. On the day of their engagement, Balu's friend Surya, drags a reluctant Balu to Lord Ganesh's temple. Balu is afraid that Chakravarthy may cancel the engagement if he is late. So he insists with Surya that they leave the temple. In the ensuing argument between them, Balu ends up insulting Lord Ganesha. Ganesha's mount, Shri Dinka murti is enraged and sends a mouse to teach Balu a lesson. The mouse wreaks havoc in the lives of Balu and Swapna.

Yedanthasthula Meda (transl. Seven Storied Building) is a 1980 Telugu-language drama film, produced under the Jhansi Enterprises banner and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Sujatha, Jaya Sudha and music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was remade as Hindi movie Pyaasa Sawan (1981) and in Tamil as Maadi Veettu Ezhai (1981).
