Based on real events, telling about the murder and investigation of the head of the special department Shamsi Rahimov. The events are presented against the political background of 1994-1995 - these are the October, March rebellions of the Javadov brothers and everything related to the history of Azerbaijan in this period of time.

The film depicts the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The funny stories that happen to their close relatives and neighbors also form the plot of the series.

Habil is a simple man. He works at the Ministry of Taxes. But after the murder of his friend Rok, his life changes completely. He promises to finish the research that his friend couldn’t. But this path he has chosen is very dangerous and cruel.

The events in the series mainly revolve around Rufat, Afet, and Zarifa. Rufat and Zarifa once loved each other. However, Rufat, who sacrificed his love for wealth, married Afet, the daughter of the wealthy Samadagha. Despite the passing of years, Rufat is not happy with Afet. The biggest reason is that they do not have children. Zarifa lives a simple life with her only daughter, Shalala. Rufat, who meets Shalala, becomes attached to her from the first moment and thinks that Shalala is his own daughter. Although Zarifa denies this, Rufat's attachment to Shalala increases day by day. And this situation also brings Rufat and Zarifa closer. Afet's father, Samadagha, is involved in illegal activities. And he is ready to do everything in his power to ensure that his daughter is not unhappy.

The events occur during the Nagorno-Karabakh War. Because of a corpse in a zinc coffin with an arguable address, two families get excited. Having cut the lid off the coffin to identify the soldier, they find out that he is, in fact, Armenian - former citizen of Baku.

Following various schemes, the only way left to raise the cash is to marry off Yusef’s son to the daughter of the rich guy who’s bought Yusef’s bizarre, mirror-filled house.

The film is dedicated to the outstanding artist, People's Artist of the Azerbaijani Republic Nasiba Zeynalova, and her rich creative path.

The mother-in-law is very different from the mother-in-law of 40 years ago. The modern mother-in-law is the wife of one of the oligarchs. Ilgar introduces the foreign bride Mufita to Janan as the daughter of the king of Atruba. And all the adventures begin from then on.

During the late 1980s and early 1990s the Armenian minority in Nagorono-Karabakh attempted to break away from Azerbaijan, one of the former Soviet republics. Overnight these former neighbors became enemies, and simple village folk were suddenly made hostages in a complex power game. One of the Azerbaijani villages right on the border is home to the family of the peasant farmer Kerim, who has just been captured by the Armenians. The village council decides to take an Armenian in order to arrange a hostage exchange. They imprison the wounded man in the barn next to Kerim's house, where his wife and three children desperately await the husband's return. The captive from the other side of the border finds himself in exactly the same situation - he, too, has three children, he finds it hard to scrape a living together, he has never done anything to harm anyone and, like Kerim, he just wants to go back home. But life in Karabakh is far more complex now. Blood calls for blood.

Nuray, who lost Farid two months ago, decides to write a new love novel. To do this, she wants to read and use the diary of Firuze, an acquaintance of her mother's who was mysteriously murdered years ago. While reading the diary, Nuray notices that a page is missing. This begins to arouse suspicion in Nuray. They meet Fikret, Firuze's lover, and try to investigate this dark crime that has not been solved for 34 years. The obstacles they encounter indicate that the murderer is still alive.

Zaur and Tahmina didn’t meet each other at the right time. Tahmina is married, and Zaur's family is categorically against their son being with a married woman. Despite all the objections, they love each other madly. Just as everything has an end, this love also has an end, but such an end would not have even occurred to Zaur...
