An elderly collector, Agathon, leaves his servant Nikos a map of an area where an extremely rare ancient statue is buried. Nikos, in turn, wanting to mislead the members of a gang who are watching him closely, assigns a young couple of private detectives, Alekos and Danae, who are constantly arguing with each other, to bring him the statue. Disguised as Catholic nuns, they go to the place indicated on the map, on an island, and stay at the hotel.
