Biography
Japanese film director, screenwriter, CM director, video creator. He is a member of the Film Directors Guild of Japan. Graduated from Musashino Art University in 1975. From the same year, he worked as a freelance film assistant director with Mamoru Watanabe, Shinya Yamamoto, and Genji Nakamura. After that he engaged in CM work. In 1985, he was selected for the 11th Kido Prize for his screenplay "Assistant Director". He is a part-time lecturer at Toho Gakuen Film College and Toho Gakuen College.
