During the continuing of the Kilrathi war, the TCS Tiger Claw get destroyed by cloaking freighters, while Blair is accused and investigated for treason the story follows another pilot Michel Casey Callsign Iceman who has been ordered to be a combat pilot at TCS Concordia where he his wing-man Mariko Tanaka Callsign Spirit. They fall in love with each other but unfortunately they are under attack by unknown vessels with cloaking devices. After the attack they get separated, Iceman wake up in an unknown planet where he get help from a former Kilrathi fighter pilot Hobbes.
